Presentation of the book project: the New Geography of the automobile industry

Abstract:

his panel aims to introduce the book project edited by Sigfrido Ramírez, Alex Covarrubias and Charlotte Yates on national automobile industry with a strong focus on innovation policies and strategies of major manufacturers and their impact on the organisation of work. This first session chaired by Sigfrido Ramírez will bring together the co-editors and the authors present in Mexico to discuss general questions and tentative deadlines for the book. It will be followed by the presentation of various European cases.
